MANILA – Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo was celebrated with a lavish reward from Megaworld Corporation following his triumphant performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The real estate giant has gifted Yulo a ₱32-million condominium unit located in the prestigious McKinley township, Taguig. This grand gesture underscores Yulo’s exceptional achievements and his rising prominence as a Filipino sports icon.

 

The condo, situated in one of Metro’s most coveted locales, spans 100 square meters and features three elegantly designed bedrooms. The unit boasts a contemporary interior adorned with gold accents, symbolizing Yulo’s Olympic victories. With an open-plan layout that integrates the living, dining, and kitchen areas, the condo offers both luxury and comfort.

Additionally, the property includes two balconies with panoramic views of McKinley township, accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom.

Yulo’s Condo Amenities

The turnover ceremony, held on August 14, 2024, was attended by key figures such as Kevin Tan, president and CEO of Alliance Global Group, and Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, president of Megaworld. During the ceremony, Yulo was also presented with a symbolic art piece crafted by Megaworld employee and leaf artist Edimar Paclibar, made from rubber tree leaves.

Other Gifts For The Two-time Gold Medalist

In addition to the condo, Yulo received a ₱3 million cash incentive from Megaworld, further acknowledging his Olympic success. This reward complements the substantial support he has received from various sectors, including P20 million from the Office of the President and ₱14 million from the House of Representatives.

The award reflects a broader commitment to recognizing and rewarding Filipino athletes for their hard work and dedication. Carlos Yulo’s remarkable achievements continue to inspire and uplift the nation. 

 

Beyond the ₱32-million condo prize and the numerous accolades he has received, Yulo’s heartfelt gratitude highlights the collective spirit of his success. 

 

“Salamat po sa mga nagpuyat para mapanood kami. Ang panalo po namin ay panalo nating lahat.” he said in a statement to his fans.

Olympic bronze medalists and boxers Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio also received ₱2.5 million cash incentives each from the House.
