The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) started accepting applications for the 2020 Registered Electrical Engineering Licensure Exams last June 5, 2020. The exam is scheduled to take place on September 4 and 5.
Early this year, the PRC had announced the cancellation of scheduled board exams for March and April due to the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, exams taking place from August – December are expected to push through despite the recent news concerning the country’s infection rates. The commission is set to announce further details by July or August.
Take note of the following requirements that are needed to apply for the licensure exam.
NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks (for Board Examination Purposes)
Payment: P900.00 (Complete)
P450.00 – For Removal / Condition
Re-examination of failed subjects is allowed any number of times.
Applicants are to apply online through https://online1.prc.gov.ph/. The deadline for filing applications is on August 4, 2020. Those who need assistance with the online application process may refer to this guide. Applicants are also expected to send their payments using online applications (Pay Maya, Landbank, Gcash).
PRC offices are open for appointments under the current General Community Quarantine and are currently implementing strict health regulations. Remember to safely distance yourself from other people and to sanitize your hands before and after transacting with a PRC representative.
