Starting July 30, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will be accepting applications for the 2020 Architecture Licensure Exams (ALE). The exam is scheduled to take place on October 30 and November 1.
For those who are planning to take the ALE, take note of the following requirements:
BS Architecture
NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks “For Board Examination Purposes” (first-timers and repeaters)
College Diploma (first timers)
Professional Tax Reciept, IAPOA# of architect Mentor (first timers)
Valid NBI Clearance (first-timers and repeaters)
Payment of 900 pesos.
BS Architecture (Post Graduation with two (2) years of diversified training and experience)
Logbook of Diversified experience
Affidavit of Experience signed and sealed by a registered Architect with updated ID
Masters Degree in Architecture – one (1) year practical experience
Affidavit of Experience signed and sealed by a registered Architect with updated ID
Payment of 900 pesos.
The deadline for filing applications is on September 30, 2020.
Applicants may apply online through https://online1.prc.gov.ph/. Those who need assistance with the online application process may refer to this guide. Applicants are also expected to send their payments using online applications (Pay Maya, Landbank, Gcash). PRC offices are open for appointments under the current General Community Quarantine and are currently implementing strict health regulations.

Principles of Architectural Planning
Structural Conceptualization
Utilities Systems
Building Materials
Architectural Design and Planning

Printed copy of Rules VII and VIII of the 2004 Revised IRR of Presidential Decree (PD) No. 1096 / 1977 National Building Code of the Philippines (Click Here)
Architect Scales (English & Metric Scales)
30 x 60 and 45-Degree Triangles
Protractors
Pencils and Related Sketching Material
It should be noted that the PRC has made several announcements in the past few months concerning the postponement of several national licensure exams. Among these were the ones that were scheduled for the months of June, July, and August. Other licensure exams such as the ones for Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and this will proceed as normal as of writing.
