PICE Officially Begins The Construction of New 7-Storey QC Headquarters

The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) has officially commenced the construction of its new headquarters in Quezon City (QC). This significant event marks a milestone for PICE and its members, reflecting the organization’s commitment to enhancing the infrastructure for civil engineering in the Philippines. The new facility promises to serve as a central hub for innovation, collaboration, and professional development.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on June 12, 2024, at the construction site on V. Luna Extension. Notable figures, including government officials, PICE executives, and prominent engineers attended the event. In his message, PICE National President and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain highlighted the significance of the project. 

“This new headquarters will not only provide a modern space for our members to convene and collaborate but will also be equip with training venue in support of the professional growth and development of One PICE members.”

Covering a total floor area of over 4,000 square meters, excluding the roof deck and basement, the headquarters is designed as a state-of-the-art mixed-use commercial space. The architectural design incorporates sustainable and green building initiatives, emphasizing PICE’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

The building will house various facilities and amenities including offices, meeting rooms, and conference halls designed to host a range of events and activities. Additionally, there will be training centers, a library, and member lounges, all equipped with the latest technological advancements to support the professional development and networking needs of PICE members.

The construction of the new headquarters is expected to be completed by 2025.
