The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a vital seawall along the shoreline of Ballesteros, Cagayan, protecting it against flooding. The project was implemented by the DPWH Cagayan 2nd District Engineering Office, which is worth PHP48.2 million and is funded through the 2023 General Appropriations Act.
According to DPWH Regional Office II Director Reynaldo Alconcel, the project was completed along the coast of Barangay Sta. Cruz, spanning 260 linear meters.
